My daughter Dream is turning sixteen today. Dream is really a dream daughter, I'm very proud to be her mother.
I threw her a sweet sixteen party this past weekend and I DIYed everything from centerpieces to party favors, so I had to take a little break from home decor. I can now truly appreciate why people hire party planners.
Here's my baby in her first dress.
And her second dress, this dress was only $10 from H&M. Can you believe that price?
The candy bar was a hit, I made all the labels for the candy jars, water bottles and favor boxes.
And my twin sister spent numerous hours on the cake, it came out fabulous!
I also DIYed the decor, the candles above were made from $1 prayer candles and vellum paper and the centerpieces were made from silk flowers and a foam ball.
Now, I'm going to get a little rest and then start preparing for Christmas. No rest for the weary.
Oh my word...you do not cease to amaze me. I have three girls, and I am praying that I can be as creative and as much of a "budgetista" when it comes to their parties. I love, love, love coming to your blog for inspiration!!!! Excellent job on Dream's birthday party, oh my gosh...beautiful!!!
